Healthy Breakfast Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagels

- 4 whole grain bagels sliced in half
- 4 ounces smoked salmon
- 4 tablespoons reduced-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt cream cheese
- 1/2 small red onion thinly sliced
- 1 medium tomato sliced
- 1/4 cup cucumber thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons capers optional
- Fresh dill or chives chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste

Toast the bagels
Toast the whole grain bagel halves until lightly golden brown.
You can toast them in a toaster or under the broiler in the oven.
Spread the cream cheese

Assemble the bagels
Place slices of smoked salmon on the bottom half of each bagel.
